I
believe that in order to live a full and long life that exercise
and proper nutrition will be a life long endeavor. I know
that many people look at an exercise program as a temporary
means to an end. Once they reach a certain size or weight,
they will be able to stop. I don’t think so. Exercise
can be safe, fun, exciting and challenging, no matter the
age or fitness level.
I believe
that exercise and proper nutrition is all about health. You
will feel better, stronger, more energetic and
be healthier if you watch what you eat and keep active. The
fact that you will look better, have less body fat and will
be toned is gravy. The primary goal whenever embarking on a
fitness program should be health, not looks.
I believe
that a personal trainer can provide a myriad of services
designed to improve the client’s health. A personal
trainer assesses the client’s current status to determine
their present condition. A personal trainer can design a nutritional
program to help the client reach their weight goals. A personal
trainer can design an exercise program to help the client reach
their fitness goals. A personal trainer encourages and motivates
the client to challenge themselves. A personal trainer provides
information on proper exercise technique and nutrition. A personal
trainer keeps the client focused on their goals and reminds
them when their slipping up.
Here, at The Fitness Group, Nancy provides a private,
professional, comfortable and positive environment for the
clients to exercise in. We start all clients with a fitness
assessment that includes measurements, body fat analysis, cardiovascular
testing, strength testing and endurance testing. We help clients
set and achieve their goals. Clients are not bound by any contracts.
There are no hidden or gym fees. Clients pay only for their
